In BHT body hair is removed to recover the hair of those who have a low density donor area in the head. The type of body hair because of genetic variants is different from the hair of the head, both in color and thickness, number of hairs per follicular unit, the donor area density and growth rate. The body hair that mostly resembles the head’s is the beard, since it has a similar growth to the hair of the head and it looks more natural.
