Depending on the case, some patients’ needs and expectations can be combined with both techniques at different times and obtain surgical removal of small grafts containing a variable number of hair follicles from the donor sites of the sides and rear of the head, and consequently placed in bald areas.
The technique consists of using mono-grafts in the front area in a soft and natural line of hairs. The use of mono, duo, tri grafts in the area just behind the front line and mini grafts, is to complete the density of the top and front of the head.
The main goal of having surgery is to achieve a natural look for which the type of hair loss in the patient must be analysed, as well as the availability of hair donor sites, density, direction of growth and the number of sessions required to obtain results in line with the patient’s expectations.
